At 2005 Michael Juntao Yuan wrote an article “POJO Application Frameworks: Spring Vs. EJB 3.0” that compared the different points between Spring and EJB 3.0. It’s very classical good post.

Now time forwards to 2007. Spring 2.0 provides a wide range of enhancements and EJB 3.0 has been released on JEE 5.0. There is debate for annotation on Spring and EJB 3.0 like “Annotations in POJO – a boon or a curse?“. No doubt, Spring supports annotation here.

But recently Spring encounters another new big enemy, Guice. There is the same debate for who is the best framework, and like any open source software before. Developer is the final judge.

Guice vs. Spring JavaConfig: A comparison of DI styles

Not convinced about Guice, Spring scores again with JavaConfig
